He then decided to bring variants of these characters into the Railway Series, renaming them Bill and Ben in his 21st book:, Little he did he know that in this very book, he would create a character who took the world by storm. Even Gordon soon thought of him in high regards when he "saved" him from Bill and Ben's antics. BoCo is firm, but fair and friendly in his nature, not being afraid to speak his mind. He is a true friend and is often willing to stick up for the underdog. He is also good friends with Edward and Duck.
